Went to Tappa in Jharkhand, took oath wearing new clothes… Amit Shah targeted the opposition like this

New Delhi: Home Minister Amit Shah targeted Congress for raising doubts on Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) in the elections. he/she said that when the assembly election results of two states have come on the same day and in one a party has been swept and in the other it has won, then those who question EVMs should be ashamed. Because the public is watching. Shah said this while replying to the two-day discussion on the topic of 75 years of glorious journey of the Constitution of India in the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday. he/she said that the Constitution of India is not a copy of anyone. Amit Shah said that along with taking the good aspects of the constitutions of different countries in the Constitution of India, it has also taken full care of the traditions of our country. Without naming Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Shah said, some politicians have come now and call themselves young at the age of 54. They keep going around and (saying that the ruling party) will change the constitution, will change the constitution. I want to tell them that the provision for changing the Constitution is in Article 368 of the Constitution itself.

he/she said that BJP ruled for 16 years in which the Constitution was amended 22 times. he/she said that Congress ruled for 55 years and during this period it made changes (constitutional amendments) in the Constitution 77 times. The Home Minister claimed that in the constitutional amendment, it is worth seeing who made the amendments for the welfare of the citizens of the country and who made the changes to preserve their power.

Amit Shah mentioned the constitutional amendments made during the reign of previous Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi government. he/she said that the first amendment to the Constitution was brought to curtail the fundamental rights of the citizens. Taking aim at Congress, a senior BJP leader said that people of this party roam around carrying EVMs after losing the elections saying that EVMs had defeated them. he/she said that the Supreme Court rejected 24 petitions related to EVMs and the Election Commission invited people to hack EVMs for three days but no one came.
