‘Moonwalk’ web series review

This series of director Ajay Bhuyan is strange, but fun. The specialty of this story written by writer Shiv Singh is its unique concept and light-hearted tone. The events will keep you entertained, whether it’s Tariq and Maddie trying to outdo each other or the gangster’s idiot son refusing to carry on his/her crime legacy.

There is a great sequence in the series, where Tariq and his/her partner try to steal a golden toilet worth ₹100 crores, while a policeman is chasing them. The creativity of the writer and director is reflected in this. There are many moments of excitement and fun in the series, which tickle your fancy.

An interesting feature of ‘Moonwalk’ is that it shows theft as an art. Its characters are proud of their work and are very serious about it. Because of this, the activities of these thieves become even more fun. Along with lots of laughs, the story also has its own complexities. For example, a theft involving an expensive necklace is very hasty and appears simpler than it actually is.

As the story progresses, many subplots open up and due to this the actual story gets scattered a bit. The series also becomes a little slow later on. However, the story that has been woven about the moon is interesting. But it struggles to fit into the actual story.

Sneha Khanwalkar’s background score makes the story interesting. The scenes with Anshuman Pushkar and Sameer Kochhar have become fun. Whereas Nidhi Singh has done wonders in the role of a clever girl. Neha Chauhan’s work is also good. However, his/her ability has not been utilized much. The series also stars Sheeba Chaddha in the role of Shehnaaz, who is a ruthless thief. She wants to take revenge from Tariq’s mother Nadra (Geetanjali Kulkarni).

Overall, ‘Moonwalk’ is a series whose story is a little different and attracts attention. There are many such moments in it, where it also tickles. But after a while it seems to be trying hard to keep you engaged.

Why watch- If you want a fun, light-hearted experience then you can watch ‘Moonwalk’. This will definitely tickle you.
