Weather Update: The weather is going to change once again in many states of the country. There is a possibility of rain and hailstorm in many states of North West India from Wednesday, March 29. Due to this, people in some states can get relief from heat wave and scorching heat. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain and hailstorm in the next 24 to 48 hours in most parts of North India including Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Uttarakhand and Haryana. Apart from this, there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rains in Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal and Sikkim on 30 and 31 March.

According to the Meteorological Department, there may be heavy rains in many states including Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Telangana during the next 48 hours. Along with this, there is also a possibility of lightning and strong winds. There are apprehensions of worsening weather in Delhi-NCR from the night of March 28. This situation may continue till April 5 and during this time there may be heavy rains in many parts of India. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be rain and thundershowers in Punjab, Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh and Jammu in this week.

According to IMD, on March 30 and 31, there is a full possibility of hailstorm with rain in Uttarakhand, Punjab, Himachal, Haryana, Western UP. There, there may be hailstorm in Rajasthan on 30 March. Whereas on March 30, the Meteorological Department is showing the possibility of hailstorm in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. The IMD has predicted rain and hailstorm in many areas of Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalaseema and Karnataka till March 31. Scattered to moderate rains may occur over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, Mahe and Andhra Pradesh during this week.
