We lost the great son of India Ratan Tata, why did PM Modi remember Ratan Tata in Vadodara?

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Tata Aircraft Complex in Vadodara. The complex will manufacture C-295 military transport aircraft. Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez was also present on this occasion. Modi described the project as an important step for India’s defense sector and remembered Ratan Tata.

What did PM say about Ratan Tata?

At the function held in Vadodara, Prime Minister Modi said that if Ratan Tata were alive today, he/she would have been very proud of this achievement. he/she said, ‘Not long ago, we lost the great son of India, Ratan Tata. If Ratan Tata were alive today, he/she would have been very happy. he/she further said, ‘But wherever he/she is today, he/she will be very happy. The C-295 aircraft factory is a symbol of the new work culture of the new India.

‘This project will give a new direction to the relations between India and Spain’

Modi said that this project will give a new direction to the relations between India and Spain. This will not only strengthen the relations between the two countries but will also strengthen the ‘Make in India, Make for the World’ mission. he/she said that India’s defense manufacturing sector is touching new heights. The Prime Minister said that in the last few years, India has taken many such decisions due to which the defense industry has developed in the country.

C-295 will be ready in Vadodara

Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL) is setting up a factory in Vadodara to manufacture the C-295 military transport aircraft in India. This will be the first private sector military aircraft manufacturing factory in India. TASL will manufacture 40 aircraft in India while 16 aircraft will be delivered directly by Airbus. The entire process from manufacturing of the aircraft to its testing and delivery will take place in this factory. Apart from Tata, public sector companies like Bharat Electronics and Bharat Dynamics and small and big private sector companies will also be involved in this project.
