Akhilesh’s reply to Om Birla’s commitment statement

As soon as the Zero Hour started, the Speaker of the Lok Sabha first called the name of Akhilesh Yadav. As soon as Akhilesh got up to speak, Birla said that we fulfill the commitments we make, but it is not right if leaders of all parties come to the well even after making commitments. In fact, in the initial part of the Question Hour, the opposition leaders were making loud noise and had come into the well. Birla had taunted the opposition on this. On Birla’s statement, Akhilesh Yadav smilingly said that Mr. Speaker, you have no answer in terms of commitment and credibility, but the calculation of the person on your right is a little different. Everyone laughed at this.

Why did Om Birla say about commitment?

After both the Houses remained in chaos for a week, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla held a meeting with leaders of various parties. The meeting was successful in ending the deadlock. After holding a meeting with Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and leaders of ruling and opposition parties, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju said that everyone has expressed concern over the deadlock that had prevailed in the House for the last few days. We also said that everyone comes to the House to express their views, it is not right if the House does not function for so many days and public money is lost for so many days. Leaders of all parties agree to this.

Many demands have also been made by the opposition. The government has approved the proposal to discuss the Constitution in the Business Advisory Committee. The Constitution will be discussed in the Lok Sabha on 13th and 14th. After that there will be discussion in Rajya Sabha on 16-17. There was a deadlock till now in the winter session of Parliament, which started from November 25.
