New Delhi : Amid the border dispute with China, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has talked about improving relations with Pakistan. The Defence Minister said in Banihal, Jammu that if Pakistan stops terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir, India is ready to start talks with it. Singh said who would not want to improve relations with neighbouring countries? Because I know the reality that you can change your friend, but not your neighbour.

Again the condition of stopping terrorism was put

The Defense Minister said that we want better relations with Pakistan, but first they have to stop terrorism. The Defense Minister said that when Pakistan stops sponsoring terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir, India will start talks with it. The Defense Minister is currently on a visit to Jammu and Kashmir regarding the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections. Singh said that 85 percent of those who fell prey to terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir were Muslims. Terrorist incidents were common in Kashmir. Were Hindus being killed in terrorist incidents? I have been the Home Minister and I know that most Muslims lost their lives in terrorist incidents.

Who wouldn’t want to improve relations with neighbouring countries? India is ready to start talks with Pakistan if it stops terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir. We want better relations with Pakistan, but first they have to stop terrorism.

Earlier, Rajnath Singh also mentioned the people of Pakistan occupied Kashmir in a public meeting. Rajnath Singh clearly said that the people of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (POK) should come to India. he/she said that Pakistan may consider them as strangers but India considers them as its own. The Defense Minister told the people of Pakistan occupied Kashmir that PoK residents, we consider you as our own while the Pakistan government considers you as foreigners. The Defense Minister mentioned the affidavit of the Additional Solicitor General in the neighboring country in this regard. In this affidavit, PoK has been described as a foreign land.
