Two Golden Globe nominations

Payal Kapadia’s ‘All We Imagine as Light’ recently received two Golden Globe nominations. The film was nominated for Best Motion Picture – Non-English Language and the filmmaker also received a nomination for Best Director. She has also become the third female director in Asia to do so. Not only this, the film also received a nomination in the Best Foreign Language Film category at ‘The Critics’ Choice Award’.

Cast of ‘All We Imagine as Light’

Starring Kani Kushruti, Divya Prabha, Chhaya Kadam, Hridhu Aaron and Azis Nedumangad, the film is the story of two Malayali nurses in Mumbai who get involved with each other. It has created history by becoming the first Indian film to be nominated at the Cannes Film Festival in 30 years. After this it was awarded the Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival 2024.
