WATCH: Rohit celebrated becoming world champion by eating grass

New Delhi. 29th June was a historic day for Rohit Sharma and company, who have made their mark in world cricket as ‘Hitman’. Under Rohit’s captaincy, the Indian team won the title of world champion in T20. India has become champion for the second time in this format. After the victory, Virat and other players including Rohit became emotional on the field. Tears of joy were flowing in the eyes of these star players. After the victory, Rohit went to the pitch of Kensington Oval and sat down and started chewing the grass there. he/she wanted to cherish the historical memories of this place. Not only this, he/she later planted the tricolor on this pitch. Rohit’s happiness was not hidden.

ICC shared a video on Sunday after the Indian team became the world champion. In this video, Rohit Sharma is shown on the pitch where India created history a night before. Rohit was seen eating some pieces of grass on the pitch. Rohit first paid respect to the pitch by patting it where the Indian team wrote the script of victory. Apart from this, Rohit was also seen holding a big national flag in his/her hand which he/she is seen planting on this pitch.
