‘Warning Rally’ announced in 500 districts of the country on 26th November, what are the demands of United Kisan Morcha?

New Delhi: The United Kisan Morcha has decided on Thursday that on November 26, a ‘warning rally’ will be organized in 500 districts across the country. This decision has been taken in the general meeting of Kisan Morcha. According to the Samyukta Kisan Morcha, the NDA-3 government should implement MSP with guaranteed procurement for all crops, loan waiver to end debt and farmer suicides, not privatize electricity and not install prepaid smart meters, public There will be a warning rally in 500 districts across the country on 26th November for comprehensive crop insurance in the region, monthly pension of Rs 10,000 and to end land grabbing by corporates. This general meeting has asked the farmers of the entire country to protest at the district headquarters on 26th November. There is a call to join the warning rally. This rally will be organized on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of the farmers’ Parliament march and the workers’ general strike in the year 2020. This rally will be organized in collaboration with the joint platform of central trade unions, other trade union organizations and the platform of farm labor organizations.

The voice of these people will also be loud

The Morcha hopes that the rally will be organized in around 500 districts across the country. Apart from the demands of the farmers, the demands of labourers, farm laborers and tenant farmers will also be raised through this rally. An appeal has been made to farmers to make the nationwide rally memorable by participating in large numbers. This rally is being organized against corporatization of the agriculture sector and to demand fulfillment of 6 major demands.

What demands are included?

These demands include MSP C-2+50 per cent with legally guaranteed procurement for all crops, an all-inclusive loan waiver scheme to prevent farmer suicides and freedom from indebtedness, no privatization of the power sector, no prepaid smart meters. These include stopping indiscriminate land acquisition for corporate companies, implementing a comprehensive insurance scheme in the public sector for crops and animal husbandry. Along with this, there is also a demand to implement Rs 10,000 monthly pension.
