‘Waited a lot, but…’ Boney Kapoor told why the original cast is not there in ‘No Entry 2’


‘No Entry 2’ is one of the most awaited films of Bollywood. Fans have been waiting for it ever since its announcement. This film has been in the news for a long time regarding its cast. The original film i.e. ‘No Entry’ had beauties like Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Lara Dutta, Esha Deol, Bipasha Basu and Celina Jaitley. But the sequel will star Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor. Fans were a bit disappointed with this casting, but Boney Kapoor has explained why he/she did not keep the original cast in the sequel. Boney Kapoor gave an update on ‘No Entry 2’ in an interview to ‘News18’ and said that the shooting of the film Will start in June 2025. Boney Kapoor also claimed that it would be better than the original film.

Boney Kapoor told the reason for not keeping the original cast

Boney Kapoor said, ‘Unfortunately, we cannot repeat the same star cast. I waited for a long time, but everyone has their own reasons and I respect those reasons. So now all the actors are fresh in it.

‘No Entry 2’ will be released on 26 October 2025

Regarding the shooting and release date of ‘No Entry 2’, Boney Kapoor said, ‘Shooting will start soon, maybe sooner than expected. We have also finalized the release date, it will be released on 26th October, 2025- Diwali. Shooting will start in June or July.

Boney Kapoor further said, ‘This is a film which has a lot of potential. In fact, those who have heard the theme of ‘No Entry 2’ feel that it is better than the first ‘No Entry’. All the elements are present in it.

‘No Entry’ was the highest grossing film of 2005

‘No Entry’ was released in 2005 and was directed by Anees Bazmee. This was the official remake of the Tamil film ‘Charlie Chaplin’. ‘No Entry’ was the highest grossing film of the year 2005.
