Virat’s love for Perth came to the fore again, expressed his/her love by scoring a century

New DelhiIf the saying ‘form is temporary class is permanent’ fits the most on anyone then it is King Kohli. If there is perfection in batting, aggression in shots, right ball selection along with a little bit of luck then a batsman like Kohli comes in Virat avatar. Chiku played like a champion on the grounds of Perth, the bat spoke and silenced everyone. When Virat was dismissed cheaply in the first innings, it seemed that if runs were not scored on the ground where Virat had connections, the team’s tension would increase.

But in the second innings, Virat came on the field with a different idea. Virat had to do the work of building a tall building on the strong foundation that KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal had laid. That means the gathering was ready, only Virat had to do the work of making it famous. Where was Kohli going to miss in such a situation. Putting aside his/her bad form, Virat, who came out to bat, seemed to be saying that he/she loves Perth and enjoys scoring runs here.

Chiku’s champion innings

When Virat came to bat, 275 runs were already on the score board. Even with the second new ball the Australian bowlers were not able to make much impact. That means Virat had the stage completely ready to show his/her class. Out of form Virat knew that he/she would not get a better opportunity than this. The first four from Kohli’s bat came from a straight drive which indicated that the wait was about to end.

The great form of old Kohli

When Virat scored a century in 2018 and if you analyze this innings played in 2024, then one thing will be clearly visible to you that the special strategy that Virat had made in 2018 for his/her footwork and balls outside the off-stump, was implemented in this innings. Amli was seen wearing a jama. Virat’s trigger movement at the crease was excellent, that is why he/she was seen scoring runs by playing the wicket balls on the leg side. Even against Lion, Virat made excellent use of sweep shots due to which Nathan Lyon could not put any pressure on Virat even on an uneven pitch.

Virat loves Perth

Virat has played three Tests in Perth on the Australia tour and Kohli has played brilliant innings in all three Tests. In 2012, Virat played Test for the first time in Perth and could not convert a good start into a big innings in both the innings. When Virat reached Perth as captain in 2018, he/she played a brilliant inning of 123 runs. Virat counts this innings among his/her best innings of Test. In the year 2024, when there was maximum discussion about Virat’s poor form, Virat told why he/she is called King Kohli.
