New Delhi. Virat Kohli has become the first batsman to score 500 runs in IPL 2024. King Kohli achieved this feat by playing an inning of 70 runs against Gujarat Titans. Virat Kohli made many more records in his name during this innings. Virat Kohli has scored more than 500 runs for the seventh time in IPL history.

In IPL 2024, there was a match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Gujarat Titans on Sunday. Batting first, Gujarat Titans scored 200 runs. Bengaluru gave a strong reply and won the match in just 16 overs. Virat Kohli played an unbeaten inning of 70 runs in 44 balls in this match. King Kohli returned from the field only after winning the match.

Virat Kohli has maintained his dominance in the race for Orange Cap (IPL Orange Cap). Sai Sudarshan (418) of Gujarat Titans is at second place in this race. There is a difference of 82 runs between Virat Kohli and Sai Sudarshan, which is proof of King’s dominance. Sanju Samson (385) is at third place in this list of Orange Cap.

KL Rahul (378) and Rishabh Pant (371) are at fourth and fifth position respectively in the Orange Cap list. Shubman Gill (320), Yashasvi Jaiswal, who are contenders for selection in the Indian team in the T20 World Cup, are far behind in the Orange Cap list. Rohit Sharma (311) is also nowhere near Virat Kohli in terms of scoring runs in IPL 2024.
