Vinati Kumar Singh has played many different types of characters on the big screen. Although he/she has not yet been seen in a traditional romantic role. he/she says that if such a good role comes, he/she would love to work. While talking about his/her choices, he/she also mentioned the food and drinks of Delhi. he/she says that he/she likes the food and drinks of Delhi very much. Recently, when he/she came to Delhi, he/she also visited Bengali Market to taste the local taste of Delhi. he/she said that Delhi’s Golgappa and Chole-Bhatura are his/her favorites and he/she longs to eat them. After all, why is he/she not seen in traditional romantic roles in films? Does he/she not want to do such roles or does he/she not get offers for such roles? In response to this, Vineet said, ‘See, as an artist you have a certain amount of freedom. Whatever comes to you, you can move forward by choosing only a few of them. Many types of things are coming but that kind of roles have not come yet. The day the same rolls come, the same color will also be seen. But yes, I want to keep working, work with good people and be a part of good stories. The rest is God’s will. If you have created such a big world then you must have thought something for me.

Bollywood will make a comeback

Given the way the film Match Fixing is a story of entangled politics, can it also be accused of being an agenda film? What does Vineet think about this? he/she says, ‘Kanwar Khatana ji, on whose book this film is based, has spent a long time in Army Intelligence, so he/she knows many things, like how to work in the field. he/she himself has experienced all those things and this story is based on the same book. This is not anyone’s biopic but fiction, but the story is so strong that when you watch the film, you will understand that when a character gets complex, drama is created there. The audience likes such stories. The character I play in the film has many shades, it deals with a lot of sensitive things.

What preparations did you do for the role of an army officer in the film?

Vineet says, ‘As an actor, it is my responsibility to prepare for whatever role I get. Colonel Ahluwalia was on the rest of the set, so even small details were taken care of. Bollywood films are currently not performing well at the box office, while South’s Pushpa 2 has become the highest-grossing Hindi film. On this Vineet says, ‘There is a saying that the world swings on the swing of rise and fall. So it keeps going up and down at the box office. If you go down, you learn more. It is also said that failure teaches and only then there is churning. When churning takes place, nectar comes out. It is a continuous process. If a good film comes out now, people will start talking about it. There are a lot of creative people who might be working right now, some films might be being made. There are many filmmakers and amazing writers in the Hindi film industry, so good things will come. This is just a phase.

‘Many questions will emerge regarding AI’

Artificial Intelligence is being discussed a lot in the film world these days. After all, how does he/she see the future of AI in filmmaking? Does he/she consider it a threat or a possibility? On this question, Vineet says, ‘I feel that the country is not completely ready for AI yet. Because we have an ability. If I ask someone to write 10 pages on a small topic, then it will be difficult to write, whereas AI will write on such 10 topics immediately. So you’re going to compete with that kind of thing. Therefore, you have to be very careful while using AI and learn many things. Also, how to protect creative rights will be a big problem that will arise after some time. Consider it like it is a sequel to your film, you are not working in it but the person working in it is your face.

Those who have control of AI will be affected by their intentions.

Now the actor will say that I have not worked in this film, so how can my face be there? Whereas the one who has the rights will say that this is a character which we had created. he/she will say that I will make the sequel but not with you. Yes, the character I have created will definitely be a part of the film. So there will be nothing in my film agreement on the basis of which I can say anything. All I can say is that I did this character, this tone was mine. Then the maker will say that the tune was yours, but I had prepared the character, you came into it. So, there will be a debate on whether the character who came inside will have the rights or the one who came inside will have the rights. Many such questions will arise in the times to come. Those who have control over AI and its related rules, their intentions will also have a great impact. Because a lot depends on the intentions of those whose one decision affects people’s lives. So what would happen if those lives were not considered? Many such questions will come in the coming days.
