Video: Yashasvi Jaiwal created history, scored 13 runs for India on the first ball


New Delhi. The result of the 5 match T20 series played between India and England was one-sided. Despite winning the first match, the host team lost four consecutive matches. India won the last T20 match by a huge margin of 42 runs and captured the series 4-1. Something happened in the fifth and last match which was not seen before in T20 International. Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal inscribed his/her name in the pages of history. 13 runs were scored on the first ball of India’s innings which is a unique record.

The Indian team made a strong comeback after losing the first match in the T20 series against Zimbabwe and won the series 4-1. Batting first in the last T20 match, Team India scored 167 runs for 6 wickets on the basis of Sanju Samson’s fifty. Chasing the target, Zimbabwe’s team was all out for just 125 runs in 18.3 overs. Mukesh Kumar took the maximum number of four wickets from India’s side.

After losing the toss against Zimbabwe, the Indian team came out to bat first. Sikandar Raza, who had decided to bowl, himself came to bowl the first over. Yashasvi Jaiswal came to open the innings with captain Shubman Gill and hit a huge six on the very first ball. The ball was a full-toss which Yashasvi took to its rightful conclusion.
