New Delhi. Hosts West Indies defeated Uganda by 134 runs to register their second consecutive win in the T20 World Cup 2024. This is the biggest win of the Windies playing under the captaincy of Rovman Powell in T20 International cricket. Powell hit such a skyscraper six in this match that it was recorded in the pages of history. he/she broke the record of the longest six of this World Cup made at night in the morning. Before Powell, this record was made by England opener Phil Salt just a few hours ago. But now Powell has taken this record in his/her name. Uganda’s team collapsed for 39 runs in front of the Windies, which is the joint lowest score in the history of the T20 World Cup.

In the match played at Providence Stadium in Guyana, the batsmen of Uganda (WI vs Uganda) easily surrendered in front of the Windies bowlers. Rovman Powell played an innings of 23 runs off 18 balls. During this, he/she hit a four and a six. The 11th over of the Windies innings was bowled by Frank Nsubuga from Uganda. Powell sent the fourth ball of this over of Nsubuga for a six over long on. The ball hit the roof and went out of the stadium. This 107 meter long six of Powell became the longest six of the T20 World Cup. Nsubuga is the oldest player in the T20 World Cup 2024. he/she is 43 years old.
