New Delhi. The Indian cricket team is ready for the ICC T20 World Cup. Team India is once again considered a contender to win the title. India has not won this title since 2007. The team can do this feat under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma. Former Australian captain Ricky Ponting called the former Indian team opener the technically best batsman. he/she said that he/she used to destroy every plan made by his/her team.
Before the T20 World Cup, the pair of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli is being considered a threat to all teams. When former Australian captain Ricky Ponting was asked about the batsmen of the Indian team, he/she put the name of the great Sachin Tendulkar at the top. While talking to Sanjana Ganesan, Ponting said, “his/her technique was so brilliant that I have hardly seen anyone else’s in my entire career. Whatever plan we made for him/her, whether in India or Australia, he/she always looked better against everyone.”
he/she further said, “On who among today’s batsmen is like him/her, Ponting said, look, when Sachin Tendulkar played cricket, the situation was much more difficult than today. Now the rules of ODI cricket have changed a lot. Now there are fewer players outside the circle. The game is played with two new balls. This has made the game much easier than before. Now the bats are better than before and there is no problem in scoring runs because of two new balls.”
