A major accident took place in Peru on Friday. A plane collided with a fire truck on the runway at Lima International Airport here. The collision was so strong that the truck was blown away and the plane was also damaged. Two firemen in the truck died in the accident. Thankfully, all the 102 passengers and crew members aboard the plane are safe. A horrifying video of this dangerous incident has also come to the fore.

According to information, a passenger plane of LATAM Airlines was on the runway for take-off at Lima Airport. The plane was about to take off when it collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction. Officials say that flights have been stopped at the airport for the time being and all the passengers and crew of the Airbus A320neo are being looked after.

On the other hand, Luis Ponce, General Commander of the Fire Department, has said that two firefighters died on the spot, while another is injured. President expressed condolences
Peruvian President Pedro Castillo has mourned the death of the two firefighters. In one of his tweets, he has expressed condolences to the families of the deceased. According to the information, this flight from Lima Airport was going towards the city of Juliaca.
