Validity of Job Seeker Visa increased in Spain, now foreign workers will be able to find jobs for one year

Job Seeker Visa is given to people who want to come to Spain and find a job. Once they get a job, people can complete further procedures as per the legal rules to stay in Spain. Due to increase in the duration of Job Seeker Visa, people will have more time to search for a job. At the same time, he/she will get a lot of time to stay in Spain.

Apart from improving visa rules, Spain is going to legalize every year 3 lakh people who are living in the country without any documents. This work will be done till 2027. Spanish Minister Alma Saiz stressed that the new rules will eliminate the shortage of workers in the country. he/she said, “This rule will open new doors, which were closed earlier. This will happen through three things: education, employment and family.”

This process will allow approximately 9 lakh people to work and live in the next three years. Spain is trying to provide work only to those who are already living in Spain. Spain needs 2.5 lakh more workers to strengthen its economy.
