USA: Jill Biden welcomed PM Modi, said- trying to build a family partnership between the two countries

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on US tour. On Wednesday, the PM reached Washington DC after presiding over the Yoga Day event in New York. After this, PM Modi went to the National Science Foundation of Virginia with America’s first lady Jill Biden. Here he/she met Indian-American students.

Partnership is not limited to the government only

At the National Science Foundation, District Biden said that you are welcome in America, Prime Minister Modi. The oldest and largest democracies of the world have come together through official visits. Our partnership is not just limited to the government. Rather, with this visit, we are establishing a family and friendly atmosphere between the two countries. The India-US partnership expands as we address global challenges. Education is an issue that is close to PM Modi and my heart.

Jill Biden further said that if we want to strengthen our economy, we have to invest in youth. We have to ensure that the youth are given the opportunities they are looking for. President Biden is investing in industries like energy and construction to create millions of jobs. We must ensure that young women also have access to education and the opportunity to acquire the skills needed for a modern workforce.

PM Modi, who reached the National Science Foundation, said that India and America need talents to maintain the pace of development. On one hand, while America has top-class educational institutions and advanced technology, India has the largest number of youth. That is why I am confident that the India-US partnership will prove to be an engine of sustainable global growth. The PM said that under Skill India, about 50 million people of India have mastered artificial intelligence, block chain, drones and other modern areas.
