US dominates the university rankings, American institutions on top in studies of 9 subjects including engineering

World University Rankings by Subject 2025: Times Higher Education (THE) has released the World University Rankings. Subjects ranking has also been released by THE. American universities have secured top positions in 9 subjects, while British universities have secured top positions in 2 subjects. THE WORLD UNIVERSITY RANKING BY SUBJECTS 2025

According to the official website of THE World University Rankings 2025, no Asian universities achieved the top position in any subject.
