UPSC Free Coaching: IAS coaching will be available in colleges, students will be tracked after 12th, CM announced!

Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini on Saturday said that coaching for competitive examinations like IAS and HCS will be provided in colleges of Haryana. Preparation for competitive exams (IAS, IPS, HCS, etc.) will be outlined through smart classrooms. A new action plan is being prepared for the arrangement of teachers, so that from the next session there will be no shortage of teachers in any school in the state. The Chief Minister also gave instructions to teach Geeta to children up to 8th class. XEN level officers will get the powers to issue tenders in schools. The Chief Minister held a meeting with Education Department officials and Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda on Saturday regarding the new education policy. Officials from the departments of fundamental education, school education and higher education were also present in the meeting.

The ratio of teachers to students in the school:
While discussing the improvement in the education system of the state in the meeting, Chief Minister Saini said that the children of rural areas will get special benefits from the new policy. Student-teacher ratio will be ensured in schools as per the National Education Policy. The Chief Minister gave clear instructions to the officials that quality education should be provided in all schools by ensuring student-teacher ratio as per the National Education Policy.

‘Teachers should be recruited in proportion to students’
CM Saini said that a comprehensive plan should be prepared through rationalization to make arrangements for teachers in schools, so that if there is a shortage of teachers in any school, it can be filled. There is no shortage of teachers. Arrangements for deployment of teachers will be ensured only according to the number of students. All arrangements should be completed before the new academic session.

Reviewing the Higher Education Department, the Chief Minister directed the officials to submit a report on the facilities including infrastructure in every college, so that any shortcomings can be rectified as soon as possible. he/she said that a plan should be prepared to make arrangements for preparation for competitive examinations through smart class rooms in colleges. With this, children from rural areas will also get better arrangements for preparation for competitive examinations.

The number of model culture schools should be increased:
CM Saini said that the Haryana government has opened model culture schools at the block level, which are affiliated with the CBSE board. In these schools, children are being given English medium education along with mathematics and science. There is competition to get admission in these schools, hence the number of model culture schools should be increased at the block level. he/she also directed that basic facilities like drinking water, toilet facilities and cleanliness should be taken full care of in schools and colleges.

Geeta will be taught, children will learn values
he/she said that in order to make children cultured and provide cultural education, Geeta should be included in the syllabus till class 8th. The buildings of the colleges which are being constructed should be completed as soon as possible. Besides, it should also be ensured that till the completion of the construction of the buildings, the students do not face any problem in the college classes running in the other building. Public confidence in government schools should be awakened.

The Chief Minister directed the Chief Secretary to give powers to XEN level officers to issue tenders for the works of the Engineering Wing of the Education Department. Strict action should be taken against contractors who do not complete the work within the stipulated time. In the meeting, Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda instructed the officials to pay special attention to the distribution of reading material in schools. The Education Minister directed that instructions should be issued to the teachers posted in the field offices on the same post for many years to go to the schools and teach the students also.

Tracking of children will continue even after 12th:
The Chief Minister said that every child studying in schools should be tracked as to which institution he/she is studying in after class 12th. Even if any child is getting education outside Haryana, then information about it should also be kept so that no child of the state is deprived of the fundamental right to education.
Through smart class rooms, children of rural areas will also get better arrangements for preparation for competitive examinations. The buildings of the colleges which are being constructed should be completed as soon as possible. The Chief Minister directed that solar panels should be installed on the racks of the college buildings.
