Assistant Commandant Eligibility: Qualification

To apply for this recruitment of CISF Assistant Commandant, candidates must have graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. Apart from this, physical qualification has also been determined. For the post of Assistant Commandant, the height of male candidates should be 165 cm. Whereas the height of ST category men has been kept at 162.5 cm. Chest of male candidates should be 81 cm. In which there should also be an expansion of 5 cm. CISF Recruitment 2024: Age Limit

• Age limit- The maximum age of the candidates to apply for this recruitment of UPSC CISF has been fixed at 35 years. Age will be calculated as on January 1, 2025. At the same time, provision for relaxation has also been made for reserved categories as per rules.
• Selection Process- Candidates will be selected through stages like written examination, physical, document verification and medical etc.
• Physical test- 100 meter, 800 meter race, long jump, shot put test will be taken in PET exam. Male candidates will have to complete the 100 meter race in 16 seconds and female candidates will have to complete it in 18 seconds. Whereas for 800 meters race, male candidates will be given 3 minutes 45 seconds and female candidates will be given 4 minutes 45 seconds. High jump: Male candidates will have to do 3.5 meters and female candidates will have to do 3 meters. For male candidates, shot put of 7.26 kg will have to be thrown up to 4.5 meters.
