UP Sarkari Naukri: Recruitment will be done in this education board of UP after 24 years, vacancy is coming for the first time

NBT Bureau, Lucknow Sanskrit Education Board will now get its own staff after 24 years of establishment. The board has sent the proposal for the recruitment of employees to the government. Till now the Board is carrying out its work with the help of some selected employees who have come on deputation. Sanskrit Education Board was established in the year 2000. Since then he/she neither has his/her own staff nor building.

How did you manage your work for 24 years?

The board office was started in a part of Government Girls School, Shahmina Road. Posts were also created in the board, but till date there has been no recruitment on them. An officer of the Secondary Education Department is given the responsibility of Secretary. Initially about 16 employees were sent on deputation from the Secondary and Basic Education Department. Some of them retired and some went back to their parent departments. Now only six Class III employees are working in the Board and they look after the functioning of the entire Board.

Recruitment will be done on 23 posts

23 posts of Class III employees were created in the Board, but recruitment has not been done till date. The Board has now sent the proposal for appointment to all these posts to the government. Apart from the Secretary of the Board, the proposal also demands the appointment of two Deputy Secretaries.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had also talked about creating a separate Sanskrit Directorate along with the Board. Many meetings have also been held at the government level regarding separate buildings for the board and directorate. Now for this, vacant land has been identified next to the College of Teachers Education (CTE) in Nishatganj. It has also been decided that the board’s office should be shifted to the CTE College campus until its own building is constructed. The office will shift there soon. The land where the board’s office is currently located is to be given to KGMU for expansion.

How did the employee crisis increase?

At the time of establishment of the Board, employees were deployed on deputation. When the board was newly formed, the employees came here on deputation. Later, when some of the employees retired, other employees were not even ready to come on deputation in their place. The reason is that their salaries and allowances are issued from the parent department only. In such a situation, every file goes to the original department. In this process his/her file remains pending for months. This is the reason why the staff kept decreasing. Now only six employees are left. Other employees do not want to come on deputation in their place. Now a proposal has been sent for the deployment of permanent employees.
