UP RTE Admission 2024-25: UP RTE form date announced, free education in private schools

UP Private School Admission through RTE: Information regarding RTE Admission 2024 has arrived in private schools of UP. Under the Right to Education Act (RTE), applications for free admission in private schools of Uttar Pradesh will start from 1 December 2024. Parents in the disadvantaged and weaker sections can get their children admitted till 19 March. This year also the application process will be in four phases.

RTE Admission UP: This is the schedule

The first phase of admission for UP RTE admission will be from 1 December to 19 December 2024. At the same time, they will be verified and locked from 20 to 23 December. The first lottery will be drawn on 24 December.

According to the information received from Basic Shiksha Adhikari (BSA) Ram Pravesh, applications for RTE admission in Uttar Pradesh for the second phase will run from January 1, 2025 to January 19, 2025. At the same time, the third phase will start from February 1 and run till February 19, 2025. Applications for the fourth phase will be opened from March 1 to March 19, 2025. The online process will be for both rural and urban areas.

Age limit for RTE admission in UP

Under RTE, admissions are to be done for pre-primary and class 1 in Uttar Pradesh. In such a case, the age of the children applying should be between 3 years to 7 years. Parents will have to provide income certificate (income of one lakh or less) for weaker sections, caste certificate for disadvantaged sections, parent’s residence certificate, birth certificate issued by the Municipal Corporation. Keep in mind that all these certificates should be made according to the latest rules and no fraud of any kind should be done in them.
