UP Police Physical Test 2024: Height, chest, running… know what happens in the physical test of UP Police?

The Uttar Pradesh Police exam was conducted for a total of five days in the month of August. After which the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) released the answer key of the examinations of different days from 11 September to 15 September 2024. Online objections were also taken from the candidates on the answer key till 19 September 2024. After settling these, the Recruitment Board will also release the UP Police Constable Cut Off List 2024 along with the UP Police Result.

After the UP Police Result, the selected candidates will be called for Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test. For this, the admit cards of the shortlisted candidates will be issued separately by the Recruitment Board on the official website uppbpb.gov.in.

Physical Eligibility for UP Police Male

In UP Police Constable Recruitment, the height of male candidates of General/Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Scheduled Castes should be minimum 168 cm. Whereas the minimum height for male candidates of Scheduled Tribes has been fixed at 160 cm. Apart from this, the chest of male candidates should be at least 79 cm without inflation and 84 cm when inflated. The chest of candidates from reserved categories should be 77 cm without inflation and 82 cm after inflation.

​What is the height required for UP Police girls

To become a constable in Uttar Pradesh Police, the height of female candidates of General/OBC and SC category should be 152 cm. Whereas the minimum height for Scheduled Tribe female candidates has been fixed at 147 cm. Apart from height, UP Police Constable Girls Weight should be at least 40 kg.

How many races are there in UP Police?

Candidates who are found successful in document verification and physical standard test will participate in UP Police race. To pass the running, male candidates will have to run 4.8 km in 25 minutes. Whereas female candidates will have to complete 2.4 km race in 14 minutes. Candidates who are unable to complete the race will not be eligible for recruitment and will be out of the selection process at that stage itself.

That is why it is important that candidates start running for the physical test right now. Because there is every possibility of UP Police result being released in the first or second week of October.
