UP Police Exam 2024: Separate centers for men and women, photo matching with AI, tight security in UP constable exam!

UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam 2024: Between 23 and 31 August, there will be a re-examination for recruitment to 60 thousand constable posts in the state. For this, the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has started preparations. This time, along with the civil police, Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) and Special Task Force (STF) will also be deployed to prevent any malpractice and cheating in the examination. Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology will be used to avoid paper leaks.

This time, to maintain confidentiality, the staff will be given a duty chart a day before the exam. Under the new system, examination centres have been set up in other divisions for male candidates and in other districts for female candidates.

UP Police Exam: Three level control rooms

  • Meerut Zone ADG DK Thakur said that there will be three levels of control rooms for checking the exam.
  • CCTV cameras will be installed in all examination centers. There will be a control room at every examination center.
  • All the control rooms of the district will be connected to the main district control room at the district level.
  • The State Control Room will monitor the control rooms of all the districts.
  • An officer of the Additional District Magistrate level will be posted at the control room to keep an eye on the situation.
  • At each examination centre, only half the staff will be from that centre and half the staff will be from other schools and colleges.
  • The Sector Magistrate will reach the examination centre with the question paper from the Collectorate’s treasury.
  • Police will also be deployed at every examination centre along with the staff.
  • Biometric attendance and Aadhar card of the candidates will be taken.

UP Constable Exam: Photo will be matched with AI

Candidates’ photos will be matched with artificial intelligence. The exam will be held in two shifts. 36 exam centers have been set up in Meerut district alone. There will also be a check to detect Bluetooth devices. Old photo, Aadhaar card photo and current photo will be matched. CCTVs of exam centers will be connected to the mobiles of officials. There will be a three-tier security cover at every exam center.

According to the police, ATS, STF and civil police will be deployed at the examination centres. The labs of the examination centres will be inspected to prevent paper leaks. The police is also keeping an eye on the activities of the accused who helped in cheating in the previous competitive examinations. The accused who are in jail on charges of cheating are also under surveillance. Action has been initiated to arrest the accused of cheating who are released from jail by imposing Gangster Act on them.
