UP Police Constable Exam 2024: How is the exam being conducted in Ghaziabad, the center of UP Police paper leak, what are the security arrangements?

UP Police Constable Exam 2024: The exam for UP Police Constable Recruitment will start from today. Earlier, the exam was cancelled due to paper leak. This time the security arrangements have been doubled. Exam nodal officer and DCP City Rajesh Kumar said that teams have been deployed at all levels for security. The responsibility of taking the paper from the centre has been fixed. 500 policemen have been deployed for security.

Tight security arrangements in UP Police Exam

Earlier, only one vehicle used to go to all the centres to deliver the paper. This time, a separate vehicle will go to each centre. This will be the responsibility of the sector magistrate. Apart from this, static magistrates will also be deployed at each centre. Apart from this, an agency will come from outside for biometric verification during entry. A police team will also be with them. Apart from the police and other staff, CCTVs have also been installed for monitoring during the exam. Entry will be closed 30 minutes before the exam and no candidate will be allowed to enter after this time.

Number of centers reduced

42 centers were made in the district for the previous exam. This time the number of centers has been increased to 20 to make security strong. All these centers have been made within 10 km of the head office. The nodal officer said that the sub-inspector will be the exam center in-charge at the centers with less than 480 students. Inspector has been given responsibility for 480 to 720 and ACP has been given responsibility at the centers above this. In the metro city, there are 1 center ACP, 8 inspector and 11 sub-inspector centers. This exam will be held for 5 days in two shifts. In which about 8500 students will appear in each shift. During this time, there will also be teams to catch cheating. The first shift exam will be from 10 am to 12 noon and the evening shift exam will be from 3 to 5 pm.

Roadways has launched 40 additional buses, travel will be free

Roadways has put 40 additional buses on the road from Thursday for the police constable examination in Ghaziabad. Candidates will get free travel facility in this. RM KN Chaudhary of Kaushambi Depot said that there is more demand for places like Meerut, Muradnagar etc. The frequency of buses has been increased for these places so that the candidates do not have to face any kind of problem.

UP Police Paper Leak 2024: The center was Ghaziabad

In February, STF and Ghaziabad police had made an arrest in the cheating case in Tronica City. Cheating was being done there using Bluetooth. After the arrest of Guruvachan, during the investigation it was found that the paper recovered from him/her was sent by Kapil Tomar. Kapil had uploaded the exam paper in the group. After Kapil’s arrest, Praveen, who is retired from the army, has been arrested.

On March 15, STF arrested Abhishek Shukla and Rohit Pandey from Ghaziabad along with Shivam Giri, who works in TCI company of Ahmedabad. First of all, the name of Ravi Atri, an MBBS pass out from Gautam Budh Nagar, who was the mastermind of the paper leak, came to light. he/she had done this entire game along with his/her associates. Apart from this, names like Bihar’s doctor Shubham Mandal, Rajiv Nayan also came to light. The names of the accused have previously come up in leaking exams like nursing recruitment in MP, TET recruitment in UP.

9 centers have been established in Hapur

In the written examination of Uttar Pradesh Police Constable Recruitment which is going to start from today, candidates will have to reach the center two hours before the examination. Candidates will not be able to enter the center with banned items like jewelry, watch, keys, purse, cap etc. According to the information, 9 examination centers have been set up in Hapur for the constable recruitment examination to be held on 23, 24, 25, 30 and 31 August. Examinations will start in two shifts from Friday, 23 August at these centers. 4104 candidates will appear for the examination in each shift. All the candidates will have to bring the admit card issued by the board and identity card like e-Aadhar, driving license or passport and black or blue ballpoint pen.

Dr. Vinita, DIOS said that “UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam will be conducted without cheating and peacefully at 9 examination centers in the district. All the preparations related to the exam are complete. Candidates appearing for the exam should come after reading the guidelines.” DM Prerna Sharma said that “The center administrators were told to complete the preparations related to the exam such as deployment of room inspectors, assistant room inspectors, fourth class employees, lighting system, clean toilets, clean drinking water, cameras, generators etc.”
