CM Yogi Adityanath tweeted on 24 February, “Orders have been given to cancel the examination-2023 conducted for selection to the posts of UP Police Constable Civil Police and to conduct the examination again within the next 06 months. There can be no compromise with the purity of the examinations. Those who play with the hard work of the youth will not be spared under any circumstances. Strictest action is bound to be taken against such anarchic elements.”

In the month of February itself, the pre-exam of Review Officer (RO) Assistant Review Officer (ARO) was also held, the new date of which has recently been released by UPPSC in its exam calendar. This exam will be conducted on 22 December 2024. In such a situation, now the candidates appearing for the UP Police Constable exam are also eagerly waiting for the new date. It is being said in the reports that the new date of the constable recruitment exam may come out soon. At the same time, it is expected that the Police Constable Recruitment Exam will be held in October or November before the RO ARO exam. However, no official information has been revealed about this yet.
