UP Cabinet Decision: Para vets will be ready in UP, new employment opportunities, big decision of CM Yogi

In view of the shortage of veterinarians in UP, the government is going to provide new employment opportunities to the youth in the field of veterinary medicine. The policy for diploma and certificate courses in the field of veterinary medicine has been approved in the cabinet meeting held on Monday under the chairmanship of CM Yogi Adityanath. The youth of rural areas will especially benefit from this. Under this policy, they will be able to become Paravet (assistant working in veterinary support system) by doing these diploma and certificate courses.

UP Para-vet: What things will you get training for?

Animal Husbandry Minister Dharampal Singh said that at present there are 8,193 veterinarians in UP. These are very less in proportion to the number of animals in the state. With the implementation of this policy, veterinary courses can be started in the private sector also. The Cabinet also decided that there should be uniformity in determining the curriculum. For this, a four-member expert committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Special Secretary, Livestock Department. Under this new policy, animal husbandry diploma and certificate courses can be conducted in private and government institutions in the state.

The Minister said that due to shortage of veterinarians, Paravets sometimes have to play a supporting role under the supervision of veterinarians in tasks like vaccination, dressing of wounds, first aid and care. ‘Paravets’ are drafted in to provide animal health services in rural areas. But due to lack of resources and inadequate training they are facing many challenges.

he/she informed that under this policy the paravets will be trained in vaccination, first aid, wound care and other essential aspects of animal health services. This will provide them employment.

Hyderabad University Campus in Lucknow

The campus of English and Foreign Languages ​​University of Hyderabad will be built in Lucknow. The Cabinet has approved this proposal. After the campus is built, 2000 to 2500 students will be able to study in it. The university campus will be built in Chakauli village of Sarojini Nagar.

  • 10 new protection homes will be constructed in the state for the safe and all-round development of destitute children. These conservation homes will be built in Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Ayodhya, Amethi, Mathura, Firozabad, Basti, Jhansi and Kanpur Dehat.
  • Approval of financial incentive for M/s Padgett Electronics Pvt. Ltd. under Uttar Pradesh Electronics Manufacturing Policy 2000.
  • Approval to transfer 1.0690 hectare land of Gram Sabha to the Tourism Department free of cost for the establishment of International Yoga and Health Center in Baghpat.
  • The ancient heritage buildings of the state will be developed as heritage tourism units on public-private partnership model under adaptive reuse.
  • Uttar Pradesh Clean Air Management Project will be implemented in UP with the help of the World Bank.
  • The meeting of Expenditure Finance Committee approved the proposal of expenditure of Rs 1191 crore on the revival project of Ken Canal System under Ken-Betwa Link Project in the state.
  • Approval to increase the budget of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia State Administration and Management Academy being built in Chak Ganjariya City, Lucknow to Rs 503.73 crore.
