New Delhi: Despite being uncomfortable with the pollution and traffic of Delhi, ‘Samrat’ is very happy to come to Delhi from Rajasthan and give his/her performance in front of the salute stage on 26th January on the path of duty. Yes, we are talking about that squad of 90 camels of BSF. Who will be welcomed by this excellent camel of Bikaneri breed named Samrat. Who lives and moves like an emperor not only in name but also in his/her work. Officials said that this camel named Samrat was on the duty path on 26 January as the chief of 90 camel squad (54 parade and 36 band). Will go ahead. The parade commander of the Camel Contingent, Manohar Singh Khichi, resident of Jodhpur, will ride on it. This will be the Emperor’s ninth year in the parade and he/she will retire in 2026 after serving for a decade. Training of BSF camel squad for RD parade has started in Jodhpur. This emperor is the happiest in this.

The emperor will walk at the head of the squad. The reins of which will be in the hands of Parade Commander Manohar Singh Khichi sitting above it. It was told about the qualities of the emperor that when he/she comes to Delhi, he/she and other camels face some problem due to the pollution and noise of traffic here, but despite this the emperor is very happy to participate in the parade here. It knows very well when its commander will have to salute the President in front of the salute platform on the line of duty. At that time, he/she adjusts his/her steps in such a way that the balance of his/her commander does not get disturbed even a bit.

Regarding the qualities of the Emperor, the officials said that on the day of the parade, he/she walks with full confidence and happily looks at the spectators. To protect the camels from pollution, more quantity of sesame oil and jaggery is given to them. Since in Delhi the camel squad has to walk about 35 kilometers for the parade. In such a situation, they are made to practice for so many kilometers from Jodhpur to Delhi. So that none of them create any ruckus in the middle of the road. This time the number of Jaisalmeri camels in the camel squad will be more.
