UN Secretary General Guterres expresses concern over slow pace of vaccination, warns the world

Digital Desk, New Delhi. United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has called on world leaders to make 2022 the right opportunity for reform in the wake of the Corona pandemic. Regarding the Kovid-19 epidemic, he said that there is a need to face Corona with equality and fairness. Yun Secretary-General said that the new variant of Corona, Omicron, is spreading slowly all over the world, and the infection is increasing day by day. He expressed concern over the slow vaccination.

He warned the world that it is mandatory for every citizen to be vaccinated. If we fail in this, then new variants of Corono will keep coming in different forms. Which will continue to shake people’s lives and economies in the times to come. In a world going through difficult times, global businessmen from all over the world have been called for financial cooperation.

The 2022 World Economic Forum meeting, being held under the shadow of the Omicron variant, was held virtually. Addressing the meeting, UN General Secretary said that in the last two years, the world has demonstrated a simple but harsh truth that if we leave someone behind, we leave everyone behind. Guterres said that to make 2022 a real year of recovery, we all need to stand together to fight the pandemic.
