The National Examination Agency (NTA) has declared the CSIR UGC NET 2024 results on September 12, 2024. Candidates who appeared for the joint CSIR UGC NET exam can now check and download their scorecards by visiting the official website csirnet.nta.ac.in. Apart from this, information related to the result is also available on the NTA website nta.ac.in.

Candidates will need their application number and date of birth to view and download their scorecard. No physical scorecard will be sent to the candidates by post or email. Here is the step-by-step process to download the result:

How to Download CSIR UGC NET: Steps to download UGC NET scorecard

1. Visit the official website of CSIR UGC NET – csirnet.nta.ac.in.
2. On the home page, click on the link ‘CSIR UGC NET Result 2024’.
3. A login page will open, where you need to enter your application number and date of birth.
4. Click on ‘Submit’ option to view your scorecard.
5. Download and print a copy of the scorecard for future use.

CSIR UGC NET 2024 Exam Overview

The CSIR UGC NET 2024 exam was conducted over three days: July 25, July 26, and July 27, 2024. On July 25 and 26, the exam was conducted in two sessions: the first from 9 am to 12 noon and the second from 3 pm to 6 pm. On July 27, the exam was conducted in a single session from 9 am to 12 noon. The exam was conducted at 348 centers across 187 cities.

This year, a total of 2,25,335 candidates had registered for the exam, out of which 1,63,529 candidates appeared in the exam.

Possession of the scorecard does not confer any right for further selection or qualification. NTA has clarified that mere attending the exam or obtaining marks does not ensure qualification for the next stages.
