UGC NET Result 2024: How to download UGC NET result

  1. Firstly, visit the official website of UGC NET, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
  2. After this, on the home page, you will see a link of ‘UGC-NET Result 2024’, click on it.
  3. After this, you will have to fill details like your application number and date of birth in the designated place.
  4. After filling all the information in the designated place, press the ‘Submit’ button.
  5. After this your result will appear on the screen. Download it and keep a printout with you for future reference.

What is UGC NET Exam 2024: What is UGC NET exam?

This exam is conducted by NTA in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. It consists of two papers and both are multiple choice questions. This exam decides whether you are eligible for the posts of ‘Assistant Professor’ and ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’ in universities and colleges of India.

How to get marks in UGC NET exam?
Each question in the UGC NET exam carries 2 marks. No marks are deducted for wrong answers. If you do not attempt a question or leave it for review, you will not get any marks for it. If a question is found to be wrong or ambiguous, full marks will be given to all the candidates who attempted that question.

The exam was conducted in two shifts from August 21 to September 4, 2024. The exam is held in 83 subjects, including Hindi, English, Kannada, Odia, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Tamil, Arabic, Linguistics, Nepali, Marathi, Telugu, Urdu, Chinese, Dogri, Manipuri, Assamese, Gujarati, Persian, French, Spanish, Russian, Rajasthani, Labour Welfare, Library and Information Science, and Mass Communication and Journalism.
