UGC NET 2024: UGC NET question papers were sold for 5-10 thousand on Telegram and Dark Web!

UGC NET Paper Leak News Today: A big news is coming out in the UGC NET paper leak case. It is being told that before the exam, UGC NET 2024 question papers were being sold online for 5-10 thousand rupees. Many Telegram channels and Telegram Groups have come to the fore, where this business was going on. Initial investigation has revealed that the sale of NET question paper had started on the dark web and Telegram about two days before the UGC NET exam 2024.

According to sources, the screenshots, links and summary of the leaked paper along with other information were given to the Education Ministry by the Home Ministry. About 48 hours before the exam, NTA NET Exam question papers were being sold on Telegram for Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000.

UGC NET paper came from Dark Web?

According to initial reports, many groups were found on Telegram where topics related to UGC NET Exam 2024 were being discussed and papers were being sold. However, it is not yet known from where the NET question paper came to these Telegram channels. But there is speculation that it may have come from the dark web.

According to information received from a senior officer, ‘The officials traced Telegram groups where the National Eligibility Test paper was being sold. After initial analysis, messages of leaked UGC NET 2024 question paper were found on social media. After which a detailed report was sent to the Ministry of Education.’

UGC did not mention about paper leak while cancelling NET

It is worth noting that the UGC NET June 2024 exam was conducted on June 18. After conducting online exams for the last 4 years, this year NTA had decided to conduct the NET exam in offline mode. UGC NET exam was held across the country in two shifts on June 18. Then the very next day, after 10 pm on June 19, the Ministry of Education tweeted that NTA UGC NET Exam 2024 has been cancelled. Because the sanctity of the exam was compromised. However, the matter of paper leak was not mentioned then.
