TV’s Parvati kept Karva Chauth fast wearing wedding lehenga like a saree, pictures are romantic

It would not be wrong at all to say that even though a day has passed since the festival of Karva Chauth, Instagram is still filled with its beautiful pictures. This is because like Bollywood, there are many beauties in the Tele TV world too, who not only celebrated their first Karva Chauth but also observed this fast for the long life of their husbands. One of them is Sonarika Bhadauria, who played the role of Parvati in ‘Devon Ke Dev Mahadev’, who started a new innings of her life in February this year.

Actually, Sonarika Bhadauria had also observed Karva Chauth fast for her husband Vikas Parashar. For this special occasion, she was completely dressed like a bride. Yes, it is a different thing that for this special occasion, instead of choosing a designer’s suit-sari, this beauty wore her wedding lehenga, which she not only gave a twist to beautifully but also kept its styling like this, Looking at it, it was not clear that this was her pheras outfit. How was the look?

It is often said in Indian families that if the first Karva Chauth is celebrated wearing a wedding lehenga, it is considered auspicious and Sonarika Bhadauria took this very seriously. Actually, on this special day the actress wanted to wear something special and what could be more special than her bridal lehenga.

This is one reason why by draping the wedding lehenga like a saree, she not only added a touch of nuance to her look but also chose the jewelery paired with it which was quite classy.

On her wedding day, Sonarika Bhadauria wore a scarlet lehenga instead of pastel colour, in which she looked so graceful, elegant and classy that one could not take her eyes off her even if she wanted to. The actress had picked this lehenga from the latest collection of Mumbai based fashion label Papa Dont Preach By Shubhika, which was completely hand decorated.

This was a kind of 4 piece separates sets, in which mixed fabrics like applique net-tissue silk, organza and satin were used. There was gold and silver wire work on the overall lehenga, which was adding a touch of luxury to the appearance of this outfit.

Sonarika Bhadauria’s seven-layered lehenga featured a mermaid patterned skirt, which was paired with a signature butterfly style blouse. To increase its royalty, a separate scalloped fishtail was added to it, along with a dupatta made of delicate lace.

Traditional hand work was done on the skirt of the lehenga, which was decorated with cut grain work made of gold and silver – pearls, crystals and beads, which was creating a 3D look. Like the skirt, the blouse also had the same embroidery.

Sonarika had paired her bridal look with a net dupatta, but on the day of Karva Chauth, she wore a velvet made dupatta, due to which many people could not understand that the actress was wearing her wedding lehenga. Along with this attire, the actress wore jewelery made of gold, with which she wore Gajra in her hair. She also kept her makeup subtle and wore a red bindi on her forehead and a nose ring.
