Now a complaint has been filed against 11 people in the CJM Court of Muzaffarpur, Bihar. These include the names of the web show’s director Anubhav Sinha, producer and actors Dia Mirza and Pankaj Kapoor, among others. In the IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack web series, the code names of the hijackers were used as Bhola and Shankar, while they were actually Muslims. In such a situation, people got angry. Seeing the controversy growing, now the real names of the terrorists will also be written along with the code names in the show’s disclaimer. Amidst all this, a complaint has now been filed in the CJM Court of Muzaffarpur.

Muzaffarpur lawyer Sudhir Kumar Ojha has filed a complaint against 11 people including web series ‘IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack’ director Anubhav Sinha, producers Sanjay Raut, Sarita Patil, Diksha Raut, assistant producer Rohit Sharma, film actors Naseeruddin Shah, Dia Mirza, Pankaj Kapoor, Arvind Swami.

Regarding this entire matter, lawyer Sudhir Kumar Ojha said that the producer, director and actors of the film have distorted the events in the film by hiding the truth and showing leniency towards the terrorists who hijacked the Air India flight. This can endanger the integrity of the country.

The next hearing of the case will be on September 20

Along with this, they have alleged that in order to defame the then Atal government and to promote separatists, this film has been used to hide the incident of hijacking of Air India flight in 1999 and to spread propaganda by creating a fabricated story. A complaint has been filed under sections 296, 192, 196, 197, 352 and 61(2) of the Indian Penal Code. The court has accepted it and fixed the next date of hearing on 20 September.
