New Delhi. Pakistan has announced its 15 -member team for the tri -series. Prior to the ICC Champions Trophy, Pakistan is organizing a tri -series in its home. Other series teams are from New Zealand and South Africa. The tri -series will be played from 8 February. This team of Pakistan will play in the Champions Trophy from 19 February. Young opener Sam Ayub is out of the team due to injury. he/she suffered an injury in the 3 ODI series against South Africa last year. Apart from Sam Ayub, out of form Abdullah Shafiq, Mohammad Irfan and Sufiyan Mukim have been dropped from the team. In his/her place, Faheem Ashraf, Fakhar Zaman and Khushdil Shah have been included in the team.

Wicketkeeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan will captain the Pakistan team. All -rounder Salman Ali Aga will be the vice -captain. Fakhar Jaman, Babar Azam and Shaheen Afridi are also in this team. Pakistan will prepare for the Champions Trophy through the Tri -series. The first match of the tri -series will be played on 8 February between Pakistan and New Zealand at the Gaddafi Stadium. Pakistan’s team will prepare for the series from 4 February. The teams of New Zealand and South Africa will reach Lahore on 5 and 7 February. The final will be played in Karachi on 14 February. After the tri -series, the three teams will play in the Champions Trophy from 19 February.

Pakistan’s pace attack
Pakistan has captain Rizwan, Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, Saud Shakeel, Tayeb Tahir and Usman Khan in batting, while the all -rounder stars Salman Aga, Faheem Ashraf, Kamran Ghulam, Khushdil Shah. Pakistan’s bowling is excellent, including Abrar Ahmed, Haris Rauf, Shaheen Afridi, Nasim Shah and Mohammad Hasnain.
