West Bengal: Senior Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Abhishek Banerjee said in a statement on Saturday that he faced immense harassment at the hands of his opponents but public support gave him the strength to persevere. Trinamool General Secretary said that this year was very learning for him.
Diamond Harbour’s MP Banerjee, referring to the multiple interrogations conducted by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED), said, “I have suffered a lot at the hands of my opponents and been their target but Ma- The blessings of Mati-Manush gave me the strength to persevere.”
Banerjee told her mission
He said, “I think this was a great lesson for me that no matter how many blows are thrown at you, honesty will help you emerge victorious and hold your head high.” Referring to the spread of the party in Goa, Meghalaya and Tripura in the last two years, Banerjee said that as Trinamool general secretary, it is her mission to expand the party across the country.
‘Party will not tolerate corrupt practices’
Banerjee, who is considered the second-in-command in the party, has warned the party leaders against doing any wrongdoing and said that the party will not tolerate corrupt practices of any leader and will show him the way out.
ED has interrogated Abhishek Banerjee
Please tell that ED has questioned Abhishek Banerjee regarding the investigation of coal scam. Regarding this inquiry, he has targeted the BJP many times. He said, “I will not bow down to those who cannot fight politically and resort to ED and CBI to intimidate.”
