Gujarat Wrestler Molested 100 Women: Kaushal Piplia, a state level wrestler champion in Gujarat, has confessed to molesting around 100 women. The accused wrestler was arrested on Saturday (December 3) for molesting a yoga teacher. The disclosure of molestation of 100 women surprised even the police.
24-year-old wrestler Kaushal Piplia won the gold medal in 74 kg freestyle wrestling at the state level championships in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. His name surfaced in the molestation of a yoga teacher, after which he was absconding for 10 days. The victim had lodged a complaint at the Malviya Nagar police station on 23 November.

The accused took off his pants in front of the young man in the lift
In the complaint, the victim told the police that where she had parked her scooty, a person was sitting in the parking lot. When he wanted to go to the lift, accused Kaushal stopped him from closing the door of the escalator. After this, the accused took off his pants and started making obscene gestures to the woman. When the girl scolded him, he tried to physically assault her.

Malviyanagar Police Inspector Ain Sawaliya said that Piplia has confessed that he molested around 100 women. However, the victims have refused to come forward out of shame and file a complaint against him.

According to the police, Piplia always used to wear a mask to hide his identity while molesting women. The police had formed four surveillance teams to nab this accused. The police examined the cameras installed near the incident. The accused was identified after a rigorous examination of CCTV footage of 1500 cameras installed near nearby shopping malls, shops, posh residences and other public places.
