Trending News: Who will be given priority in Congress? Mallikarjun Kharge told after the meeting

Congress Plan: Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge reiterated on Friday (December 23) the need to ensure accountability in the organization from top to bottom. He said that the qualification, loyalty and scale of the leaders should be considered in the appointments. Kharge held a meeting with senior leaders to discuss the preparations for the proposed Hath Se Hath Jodo campaign of the Congress and emphasized that the dialogue with the people created by the Bharat Jodo Yatra should be maintained.

To take the message of Bharat Jodo Yatra being taken out under the leadership of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, the party will start Hath Se Hath Jodo campaign from January 26.

Do assessment after 6-6 months of appointments
Kharge said in the meeting, in the last meeting of the steering committee (on December 4), I had asked everyone to take responsibility and ensure accountability in the organization from top to bottom. He said, I want to add one more thing to that that there should be a scale of work. It should not happen that the appointments remain just a matter of beauty and the party does not benefit. The Congress President said, for this reason, I want to tell all of you that after 6-6 months of all the appointments, definitely assess the work of the office bearers. If necessary, reconsider these appointments as well.

Keep in mind the qualification and loyalty in appointments
Kharge said, appointments are yet to be made at the block and district level in the states. In the formation of state committees, special attention should be paid to the fact that all sections must be represented, so that every person feels connected to the party. He said that special attention should be paid to merit and loyalty in appointments. Kharge told the leaders, I think you should take special care that not a single deserving person should be ignored. Referring to this winter session of Parliament, he said that the opposition raised tension on the border with China and many other issues of public interest, but the government kept running away from the discussion.

Campaign will be started across the country from January 26
The meeting chaired by Kharge at the party headquarters was attended by Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, party general secretaries, state in-charges, presidents of state Congress committees and leaders of the legislative party. After the meeting, Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal said that from January 26, a Hath se Hath Jodo campaign will be started across the country, under which people will be contacted at the block, panchayat and booth level.

Venugopal said that Rahul Gandhi’s letter will also be handed over to the people in the ‘Hath se Hath Jodo’ campaign, which will continue for about two months, which will have the message of ‘Join India Yatra’ and will also attach a charge sheet against the Narendra Modi government. . A women’s march will also be taken out by the party, which will be led by Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. Congress media and publicity head Pawan Kheda said that the Bharat Jodo Yatra has now taken the form of a movement, due to which the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the government are completely nervous. He said that no matter how hard BJP and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) try, this journey will not stop.
