Trinamool MLA Gautam Chaudhary: In West Bengal, an MLA of the ruling Trinamool Congress embarrassed the party by calling Trinamool a ‘company’ and CM Mamata Banerjee a ‘brand’ of that company. Trinamool (TMC) MLA Gautam Chaudhary (MLA Gautam Chaudhary) told reporters in Howrah on Friday, January 6, “Trinamool Congress is like a company whose brand is the chief minister.”

After this statement, MLA Gautam Chaudhary came under attack from the leaders of his own party. Please inform that, Gautam Chowdhary is the Trinamool Congress (TMC) MLA from the Howrah (North) constituency in the state of West Bengal. His statement that the Trinamool Congress is a company matches with what Leader of the Opposition Shubhendu said at a public rally. Shubhendu had said on Thursday, ‘Trinamool Congress is a private limited company, which is owned by the chief minister and the managing director is his nephew (Abhishek Banerjee).

Trinamool Congress (TMC) MLA Gautam Chaudhary also made a comment like Shubhendu while talking to media persons today i.e. on Friday. In Howrah, Choudhary said that the Trinamool Congress is like a company whose brand is the chief minister. He said, “We are a non-entity. We are like medical representatives in pharmaceutical companies. Everything in the party is Mamta Banerjee.
After such a statement by MLA Gautam Chaudhary, other Trinamool leaders started doing damage control.

Trinamool Congress spokesperson Kunal Ghosh said – Such comments are misleading and unfair. I don’t know what he meant exactly, but the choice of words was inappropriate. Trinamool Congress is an established political party and we all are loyal workers of the party.

Kunal said that it is true that Mamta Banerjee is the main face of the party and the rest of us follow her. Trinamool Congress Party’s Howrah District President Kalyan Ghosh claimed that whatever MLA Gautam Chowdhary said, he said by mistake. Kalyan Ghosh said that now he has been warned by the party to be careful with his words in future.

BJP took a pinch

At the same time, BJP state president Sukant Majumdar took a jibe at Trinamool Congress MLA Gautam Chaudhary’s statement. Mocking Trinamool, he said that Gautam Chaudhary has accepted that Trinamool Congress is a company and its leaders are mere employees.
