Congress Bharat Jodo Yatra in Delhi: Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ is entering the capital Delhi today i.e. on Saturday (December 24). In view of this journey, Delhi Police has issued some traffic advisory. The police have appealed to the people to avoid going on the routes through which this yatra will pass. Due to the crowd, people can get stuck in the jam. In such a situation, if you are also going out for some work in Delhi today, then definitely go out after seeing these routes.
There is a 23 kilometer padyatra in Delhi
According to Delhi Police’s advisory, the yatra led by Rahul Gandhi will enter from the Badarpur border in South-East Delhi at 6:30 am on Saturday and reach the Red Fort via Ashram Chowk, covering a distance of 23 km. It has been said in this that the yatra will reach Jai Dev Ashram near Ashram Chowk at around 10:30 am and end at Red Fort at around 4:30 pm. A large number of pedestrians and vehicles are expected to participate in the yatra.
There will be trouble on these routes
Police has also told in the advisory that during the journey Badarpur Flyover, Mitha Pur Chowk, Prahlad Pur Red Light, MB Road, Apollo Flyover, Mathura Road, Okhla Mod Red Light, Modi Mill Flyover, NFC Red Light, Ashram Chowk, Moolchand , Andrews Ganj, AIIMS, Captain Gaur Marg, Dayal Singh College, Nizamuddin Flyover, Safdarjung Madrasa, Part of Pragati Maidan Tunnel towards IP Flyover, Mathura Road/Bhairon Road T-Point, Subramaniam Bharati Marg/Zakir Hussain Marg Crossing, Traffic will be affected on routes like Mandi House, Turkman Gate, Rajghat Chowk etc.
Actually, a large number of people will be involved in the yatra. This can cause severe jam. In view of this, an appeal has been made by the police to the people to avoid using these routes and to use maximum public transport.
