The Chief Minister said that the market rate would be decided after taking suggestions from all the stakeholders. In the interim, an interim assistance of Rs 1.50 lakh per family is being given. For this, an amount of Rs 45 crore has been released for about three thousand affected families.
Chief Minister Dhami said that an advance amount of Rs one lakh has been given before the policy for permanent displacement of the affected people is prepared. Apart from this, 50 thousand rupees have been given as one-time special grant for transportation of goods and other needs. This amount was released by the Uttarakhand State Disaster Authority.
Assistance will be given after a complete assessment of the total expenditure in the affected area. The Chief Minister said that he himself is taking regular reports from the officials about all the arrangements in the Joshimath affected area. He instructed the Chief Secretary that after talking to the affected families, their every problem should be resolved quickly.
