The economic conditions of the local people have already improved after the abrogation of Article 370 from the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir in 2019. This information has come out from a report published in the daily newspaper Asian Light published in Britain. According to the report, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor (LG) Manoj Sinha recently claimed that due to the new policies of the UT administration, all obstacles in setting up new businesses and industries in the region have been removed. The steps of the administration are getting the support of the local people.
The new framework has been approved for the poultry industry
The report quoted Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture Production and Farmers Welfare Department Atal Dulloo as saying that the Agriculture Production Department has approved a new framework to provide stability and self-sufficiency to the state’s poultry sector. Under this, a total of 420 enterprises and 4,250 direct jobs will be created in the next five years. At present the Union Territory has to import 1273 crore poultry products per year. These include eggs worth Rs 473 crore, poultry feed worth Rs 300 crore, chicken worth Rs 390 crore.
Article 370 was the main reason for separatism, terror in the state
The report quoted the LG as saying that Article 370 was the root cause of separatism, terrorism, nepotism, discrimination and corruption in the state. Due to this, the people of Jammu and Kashmir remained deprived of development for a long time. After three years from the past, the state is now embarking on a new journey of development. This statement of LG was published in the local media report of Kashmir Observer, which has been cited by Asian Light.

The LG has been quoted in the report as saying that due to the policies of the administration, every section of the society including the youth is getting equal opportunities of economic opportunities. It is shaped to empower people. The rapid development of the state, better socio-economic standards, unprecedented progress in all priority sectors, large-scale tourist inflow, rapidly increasing industrial investment and peaceful environment are testimony to the prosperous Jammu and Kashmir.
