India Weather Forecast: Cold has started showing its effect in parts of North India. Due to the snowfall on the mountains, the mercury has dropped further. Chilliness has increased due to drop in minimum temperature. The effect of cold wave and fog has started appearing in many places. Even in the areas of Delhi-NCR, now there is a feeling of coolness. Severe cold has started in the areas of UP, Bihar and Jharkhand as well. At the same time, there is a possibility of rain in the states of South India on Friday (December 16) as well.
According to the Meteorological Department, in parts of Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and western Uttar Pradesh, people’s problems may increase due to cold wave.
There will be severe cold in Delhi
Now the cold has increased in the areas of Delhi-NCR. The weather has suddenly changed in the national capital and the chill has increased. A drop in day and night temperatures has been recorded due to the cold winds coming touching the mountains. A drop of 2 to 4 degree Celsius has been recorded in the minimum and maximum temperature. For the time being, the weather is likely to remain like this. In the capital Delhi, the minimum temperature is expected to be 5 degrees Celsius on Friday, while the maximum temperature is expected to be 23 degrees Celsius. The sky is expected to remain clear.

The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of cold wave in Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and western Uttar Pradesh. The cold has increased in Bihar and Jharkhand due to the westerly wind blowing. In the coming few days, the chill will increase further in many parts of North India. In some parts of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, the temperature is below normal by 2-3 degree Celsius. Due to the cold winds in the capital of UP, Lucknow, the problems of the people have increased. During the last 24 hours, the minimum humidity in the air has been recorded at around 24 per cent.

The effect of cold has started increasing in Madhya Pradesh. Due to the moisture in the weather, people have started suffering from cold in many districts of the state. The weather is also changing in Chhattisgarh. The arrival of cold and dry winds from the north has started in the state. The weather is likely to remain dry on Friday. At the same time, there is a possibility of a drop in the minimum temperature. In the next three days, the minimum temperature in the state may fall below 4 to 5 degrees. A drop in temperature has also been recorded in Bastar division of the state. On December 16, the minimum temperature in the state is likely to remain near 16 degree Celsius and the maximum temperature near 31 degree Celsius.
Where will it rain?
According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), there is a possibility of rain in some other parts of South India including Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andaman and Nicobar Islands even today. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in these areas and heavy rain in some places. Apart from this, there are chances of rain in some other parts of the country including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh (MP).
