Mathura Krishna Janmabhoomi Shahi Idgah Case: The Shahi Idgah built in Mathura will have a survey similar to the Gyanvapi campus in Varanasi. Yesterday (December 24) the court had ordered the survey. Hinduist organizations expressed satisfaction on this, while Muslim leader Asaduddin Owaisi has raised questions.
On the order for the survey in Idgah, Owaisi said, “As I had said earlier, the same is happening. After the Babri Masjid verdict in Ayodhya, I had said that this will encourage the mischief of the Sanghis. Now see the court in Mathura A commissioner has also been appointed to examine the evidence inside the Idgah premises. All this is happening despite the ‘Places of Worship Act’.”

Asaduddin Owaisi also referred to the 1968 agreement between Shri Krishna Janmasthan Seva Sangh and Shahi Masjid Idgah in Mathura. Owaisi shared the copy of that agreement on his official Twitter account. He said, “Survey in the Shahi Idgah… that too when there has been a written agreement between the two sides to resolve the dispute over the mosque and the temple standing next to it.” Please don’t give importance to “do more lo” when one side is interested in relentlessly targeting Muslims.
