Nasal Vaccine Price: Government of India is on alert regarding Corona virus. The government approved the nasal vaccine last week. Vaccine will be available soon. At the same time, according to the information received from the sources, the cost of nasal vaccine can be one thousand rupees. In this, the cost of the vaccine will be Rs.800. At the same time, including GST and hospital charges, it will be available for Rs 1000.
Bharat Biotech’s intranasal vaccine iNCOVACC was included in the corona vaccination program only last week. Now it has been learned that the cost of the vaccine will be Rs 800 and 5 percent GST will be levied on it.
Will be available by end of January
The intranasal vaccine was previously approved as a booster shot for people fully vaccinated with Covaxin or Covishield. According to media reports, by the end of January it will be available for those who have taken both the doses of the corona vaccine.
Hospital charge can be up to Rs 150
According to the Moneycontrol report, private hospitals have been allowed to charge up to Rs 150 for each dose of the corona vaccine. By adding this amount, the cost of nasal vaccine can be 1000 rupees. The nasal vaccine has been developed on licensed technology from Washington University in St Louis.
Corona status in India
After the arrival of 157 new cases of corona virus infection in India in one day, the number of people infected so far in the country has increased to 4,46,77,459, while the number of patients under treatment has come down to 3,421. At the same time, one person has died, after which the number of dead has increased to 5,30,696. The national rate of recovery of patients in the country is 98.80 percent. The daily infection rate is 0.32 percent, while the weekly infection rate is 0.18 percent.
