Chamguru village has also been adopted by Birsa Agriculture University.

Vimla Devi, a resident of the village, says that the university has adopted it, which facilitates goat rearing. Earlier it used to be very difficult to arrange medicine and food for the goat. But due to the cooperation of the university, we do not face much trouble.

Everything from marriage to studies is done by selling goats.

Irfan Ansari of the village says that in our village everything from marriage to education of children is done by selling goats. Goat is the ATM machine for us. Goats are sold when money is needed.

Goats are mostly sold in the market and people buy them from home on the occasion of marriages and festivals. More sales happen on the occasion of festivals. Goats are sold by weight.

The head of the village, Sunil, says that it is our endeavor to give them more business information with the help of Birsa University. But due to the lack of education, people are still holding the goat.

Professor Ashok of Birsa Agricultural University says that the people of the village know goat rearing. That’s why we help them in gathering all the resources for goat farming. Along with this, we are providing them detailed information about many schemes of the government.
