It has been informed from a Twitter handle of Defense that the training of the first batch of ‘Agniveervayu’ started at Airmen Training School (ATS) Belagavi from today. Air Marshal Manvendra Singh Training Command visited ATS Belagavi and addressed the newly recruited batch of Agniveervayu.
Record candidates had registered
Significantly, Agniveer is being recruited in the Air Force in the name of Agniveervayu. The Air Force had earlier informed by tweeting that a record 7,49,899 candidates have registered for this recruitment. Earlier, the maximum number of applications filed in any recruitment cycle was 6,31,528.
There was fierce opposition to the Agneepath scheme
Let us inform that after the announcement of the Agneepath scheme, youths from all over the country came on the streets. There was a fierce protest against this plan. It was said that the youth of the country would not accept this scheme. Despite this, a large number of youths have applied to become Agniveer.
Significantly, the Army has also released the notification of Agniveer Recruitment Rally. Along with this, the Navy has also released the application for recruitment. Explain that under the Agneepath scheme, candidates will be recruited in any army for only 4 years. After which, if required, only a maximum of 25 percent candidates can be made permanent.
