Season Update: Outbreak of cold is being seen in entire North India including Delhi. This winter has made life difficult for the people. If we talk about Wednesday, December 28, then there was definitely some relief from the cold. Winter was slightly less recorded. According to the Meteorological Center, the minimum temperature was recorded at 6.3 degree Celsius on Wednesday. At the same time, this temperature was 5.6 degree Celsius on Tuesday and 5 degree on Monday. In Delhi-NCR and nearby cities, by the evening, once again the agony of winter was seen. So let’s know how will be the weather tomorrow i.e. Thursday 29th December?
Will get relief from the torture of winter
The Meteorological Department said that according to the forecast of IMD i.e. India Meteorological Department, an increase in the temperature of Punjab, Delhi-Haryana and North Rajasthan has been recorded, due to which people have got great relief in winter. If we talk about Thursday i.e. tomorrow, till December 29, the minimum temperature in these states is likely to rise by 2-3 degree Celsius, which will bring more relief from the cold.
Let us tell you that the minimum temperature of Delhi was 5.6 degree Celsius on Tuesday, which was less than Dharamshala, Dehradun and Nainital. Weather experts said northwesterly winds blowing frequently over the plains and foggy weather reducing the sunshine, led to cold wave and a drop in day temperatures in northwest India.

As the cold wave is intensifying in North India, the minimum temperature in Kashmir’s Srinagar has dropped to -4 degree Celsius. Meanwhile, the temperature in other parts of the valley dropped below -8 degree Celsius. Water sources have frozen in many areas in Kashmir, due to which there is a shortage of drinking water.
Temperature in Punjab and Haryana
Bitter cold and dense fog were recorded in many parts of Punjab and Haryana, with Narnaul being the coldest in the region at 2.4 degrees Celsius. Haryana’s Hisar recorded severe cold and the minimum temperature dropped to 2.5 degree Celsius. Ambala recorded minimum temperature of 7.7 degree Celsius, Karnal 6.8 degree Celsius, Rohtak 6.6 degree Celsius, Bhiwani 5.5 degree Celsius and Sirsa 5.2 degree Celsius.
Chandigarh, the joint capital of Punjab and Haryana, recorded a minimum temperature of 7.4 degrees Celsius. In Punjab, Amritsar recorded 6.5 degrees Celsius, Ludhiana 6 degrees Celsius, Pathankot 8.8 degrees Celsius, Bathinda 3.6 degrees Celsius, Faridkot 6 degrees Celsius and Gurdaspur 4.5 degrees Celsius.
